Mission Statement Since May 2000, the Youth Empowerment Center has providing counseling and information to victims of violence. We believe it is important for survivors of all types of violence to regain control of their lives. The Center empowers them to make their own decisions through the recovery process. This includes such decisions as reporting their victimization to the police, and seeking medical services and counseling. We are dedicated to empowering youth,and families. We offer counseling, prevention and intervention services in a compassionate and healing environment. We share a passion to insure that every child and family has a healthy start and future. We provide information to the community concerning violence and other related issues. YOUTH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Provides comprehensive and innovative programs that serve at-risk youth and their families in San Diego and San Diego County, our programs challenges youth to envision and navigate a course for a rewarding future characterized by achievement, independent thought, and social responsibility through education, mentoring and tutoring.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to end domestic violence by changing individual, institutional and societal beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate it. To achieve this we will work with the community to: Provide services in San Diego and San Diego County and to people, primarily women and children, who have experienced physical, emotional or sexual abuse. We are dedicated to preventing domestic violence through advocacy, education and support.
