Etiquette

What exactly is Etiquette?

Etiquette has to do with good manners. It's not so much our own good manners, but making other people feel comfortable by the way we behave.

Etiquette is simply showing respect for others and yourself at the same time. Good manners are not only indispensable in society, but they have a very practical value in the business world.

This workshop is Free and is intended for Youth ages
10-17 years old

Is accepting nominations for man of the year

We hear so much on television and in the newspapers about the plight of African American males most of what is reported is negative. But we know that there are upstanding, inspirational, and dedicated men out there who are standing tall and standing on the front lines taking care of business.
We want to know about the special man/men in your life or in the lives of others
To be considered all nominees must be/have
Males ages 21 and up
Community Service
Family Values and dedication
Being an inspiration and role model to youth
Dedicated husband and father
Inspiration to others

Those not eligible for this award includes
Ministers
Community leaders
Heads of Organizations
Activists

We will be accepting nomination starting
September 6, 2006 ending November 6, 2006
An Awards ceremony will be held in December, where the winner will be announced. The date will be forthcoming.

The five finalists will be notified by phone, email or postal in November 2006, the 5 finalist and the winner will be chosen by our panel of judges.
